Asphalt Division
The asphalt division has the crucial role of providing the finishing touch on most projects. The paving crew has experience in using multiple asphalt mixes all of which have their own unique properties and challenges. The asphalt division is broken into hand and machine crews which are essential for completing many scopes of work. The hand crews typically complete smaller patch work where a paver is not utilized and has the capability of crack sealing to prolong the lifespan of roadways in Edmonton where the freeze /thaw cycle wreaks havoc every year. The machine crew utilizes the paver which facilitates large projects and is what completes the North West Paving “machine”. With this crew’s expertise we have the ability to pave arterial, collector and local roads in a timely fashion while abiding by municipal standards.
