History
Established by William, Wilma and Lorne Janzen in 1970 as North West Maintenance and Paving Limited, the company worked with General Contractors and Developers building city streets around Edmonton and surrounding areas.
William and Wilma Janzen retired in 1986 and Lorne continued North West Paving Ltd.
A close relationship with Voice Construction, a large contractor in Edmonton, allowed North West Paving Ltd. to get into industrial work in central Alberta in the mid 1990’s.
In the spring of 2005, the company expanded to larger projects, more employees, and has been expanding since. Through out 2005 to 2008 new partners were bought in and the company continued to grow and thrive. In the spring of 2011 Lorne retired leaving an ownership group that was well equipped to handle the challenges that lay ahead. Today, the management team continues to grow North West Paving Ltd. In August, 2017 the company moved to a larger location to facilitate its long term growth strategy.
